DID YOU KNOW?
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is home to some of the best ice climbing in the U.S.! The state’s best pitches and formations can be found at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising. Water trickles out of the sandstone cliffs around Lake Superior’s shores, forming frozen columns and curtains of glimmering blue and white ice up to 200′ high.
